Our History
For over 20 years, Phigenics has been a trusted partner and industry leader in water safety.
2004-2006
Bill McCoy, Ashton McCombs, and Jay Reading founded Phigenics in Naperville, IL, as an independent water management company focused on helping facility owners and managers develop and implement defensible Water Management Programs.
2007-2009
Phigenics launches its first wave of Legionella environmental testing innovations, PVT TimeZero™, setting the standard for water management program validation testing.
2014-2016
The Phigenics office & lab in Fayetteville, AR, opens, advancing into testing for commercial businesses. The Naperville, IL, HQ & lab moves to Warrenville, IL, in order to expand its area for processing.
2017-2018
Phigenics opens a research lab in Reno, NV, at the University of Nevada to fuel further innovations and serve our growing customer base.
2019
Phigenics launches phiAnalytics®, a cloud-based data management platform designed to help clients document, verify, and manage water safety and compliance data.
2021
Phigenics launches PVT VIABLE™, a first-of-its-kind hybrid testing method that combines culture and molecular methods.
